The concept of crowdfunding

The main reason why people do crowdfunding is often misunderstood. My experience with people nowadays makes me wonder if they truly know why they engage in crowdfunding. I've seen many individuals who set up a

campaign page and base all their hopes on the response of their inner circle. Once those people (friends and family) refuse to support them, they give up.

You need to understand that crowdfunding means when a crowd (not everyone, but anyone) comes together to fund a project, idea, venture, product, or concept they agree with. With crowdfunding, you are seeking three things:

1. Eyeballs (attention)

2. Funds

3. Opinions

These three packages come with crowdfunding. You get to attract more attention to your brand or product, secure funds to bring the project to reality, and receive opinions or validation. Crowdfunding helps you understand people's needs better, improve your product, and focus on the right strategy. Most backers provide feedback that creators can use to understand market needs and demands better.

Crowdfunding is meant to connect you to the world and get discovered by enthusiastic fans and business partners. Therefore, it's essential to have a compelling page and effective strategies to attract backers. New ideas can be complex and hard to understand, and securing funding from strangers requires a lot of skills, experience, and knowledge.

So, if you're among those who think your inner circle is the only source of support, you're mistaken. There are thousands of people who will surely support your project. Don't limit yourself.
